The recommended Viewer is the FirestormOS Viewer, available at: FirestormViewer.org. However the latest version available does not yet work on Halcyon because of updates not applied to Halcyon yet. So it has been determined that 6.6.14 is the last version that works well enough on Halcyon, with a few minor features not operative.

Firestorm OS is a C++ based viewer for Linux/Macintosh/Windows, forked from the SL viewer. Successor to Phoenix viewer. The most widely used viewer on Second Life.

Also suggest that you enable the "Vintage" Skin in the Preferences, which will make it look more like the older InWorldz Viewer.
